About Me
My Vision
A world where economic knowledge is not a privilege of the few, but an empowering tool for the many, to build fairer, more informed, and more ethical societies.
My Mission
To create and share clear, courageous, and compassionate content that challenges economic myths, explains complex topics and policy decisions, addresses social issues, and bridges the gap between academic theory and everyday life.
My journey into economics began with two things: curiosity and crisis. As a teenager during the 2008 financial meltdown, I watched how invisible decisions in distant rooms could ripple across the world, shaking homes and futures. I wanted to understand those forces. That led me to earn a BSc in Economics and then a master’s in Banking & Finance from the University of Sussex and a PhD in Macroeconomics & Finance from the Democritus University of Thrace, both with distinction.
My academic work has focused on how central banks and macroeconomic policy affect economies at both national and global levels. I have published widely and taught everything from capital markets to economic systems. But over time, one thing became clear: much of this knowledge stays locked inside institutions, while everyday people remain in the dark.
So, I left the academy to build something new. Today, as a freelance analyst, I collaborate with individuals, freelancers, and business leaders to help them understand how the economy truly works and what that means for their future. I cut through media spin and institutional jargon to offer truth, clarity, and insight, for everyone.
Whether you are just starting out, running a business, or preparing for retirement, you deserve to understand the forces shaping your life.
